Experience

The most interesting feature of this artistic destination is its sculpture garden. Stroll through 30 acres of woods, fields, and meadows that have been decorated with 3D art installations.

Along the quarter-mile walking path, you'll find several permanent pieces integrated into the landscape. There are also rotating pieces on loan from the Smithsonian Institute and National Gallery of Art. This means there's something new to look at each time you visit the garden.

The sculpture garden is open every day from 9 AM until 5 PM, with free admission for the first hour. Best of all, it's both handicap accessible and pet friendly. And you won't want to miss any of the special events. Visitors particularly enjoy the Garden in Lights every holiday season.

Inside the award-winning John Dennis Murray Arts Building, you'll find more traditional galleries and exhibits, plus a gift shop and café. The building is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Create

Admission into the arts building also gets you access to the ArtLAB, a creative reuse center. Here, visitors are encouraged to turn recycled materials into works of art.

Kids and adults alike can find projects using materials like jars, cork, water bottles, pool noodles, and more. This is a great way to both foster creativity and reduce waste.

Meanwhile, the Studio School provides more formal instruction for all ages and skill levels. Professional artists and educators offer classes in everything from pottery to dance.
